Reviews for the 2014 Porsche Cayman S are in. And they’re good! Edmunds said that it’s hard to imagine how the next generation Cayman could be improved simply because the 2014 model is near perfect.

The Cayman comes with a few new features and improves older ones. A new feature is electric-assist power steering. The 2014 Cayman S is smaller than other sports cars and is the only coupe with a midengine in that price range, according to Edmunds.

The Cayman sits two people. The S model has 19 inch wheels, dual exhaust pipes and more. The standard features the S model still keeps the auto stop-start, electric parking brake, a seven-inch touchscreen and more.

Other features include: keyless entry, heated seats and voice command. The 2014 Porsche Cayman is all about customization. Drivers can choose between three different kinds of seats, different colors and trim options.

The Cayman gets about 275 horsepower according to Edmunds. It can accelerate from zero miles per hour to 60 miles per hour in a little less than six seconds. The fuel efficiency has also improved. The new models gets about 20 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway.

The Cayman S performs slightly better with 325 in horsepower and can accelerate from zero miles per hour to 60 miles per hour in a little less than five seconds. However, it gets slightly less per gallon than the base Cayman. The Cayman S can get around 20 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway.

The Cayman is also safe and comes equipped with eight airbags and antilock brakes.
