Before you hand over your hard-earned cash to the Tucson Police Department for street racing, check out this guide to local tracks where you can get your burn on.

If you are new to the Porsche scene, it’s a good idea to take advantage of driving training offered by several operators, including the new owner Porsche Day sponsored by Chapman’s Porsche dealership. As always, the emphasis is on safety – yours and other drivers. Here are the top track picks offered up by the Club:

Inde Motorsports Ranch – nestled at the northern end of the Chiricahua Mountains in Willcox, Inde Motorsports Ranch is one of the safest and newest tracks in Southern Arizona. It features a 2.75 mile, 21-turn circuit with 200′ of elevation change. It has an LED wireless corner lighting system, ample run-off areas, curbing and gravel traps, as well as state-of-the-art facilities, including garages and meeting areas.

Arroyo Seco Raceway – located just outside of Deming, NM, this track is 1.4 miles long and features 14 corners. Facilities are limited to restrooms.

Musselman Honda Circuit – located near the Pima County Fairgrounds, this kart track is only 0.8 miles but has corners, elevation changes and is lit for nighttime use. Has various facilities for rent, and offers monthly drifting and kart racing activities.

Pinal Air Park – this aviation boneyard also has a safe, fast 1.2 mile road course.

Southwest International Raceway – this local Tucson drag strip is located at the Pima County Fairgrounds and is used by the PCASAR for car control clinics.
