Celebrity Porsche mania
Porsche can be traced back to 1900 when engineer Ferdinand Porsche helped design the Lohner-Porsche electric car. Porsches early work helped them become established as an internationally known top automotive company and even today that standard is still upheld. Today Porsches radical aerodynamic styling and lightweight precision-built chassis continues to change the landscape of auto racing as well as everyday driving. These factors combined may be the reason why it seems the automotive brand is so popular amongst celebrity drivers.
Porsches can be found in everything from classic movies such as ‘Top Gun’ to in the driveways of all sorts of celebrities, to name a few: Britney Spears – 996 Carrera 4 Tiptronic, Bill Gates – Porsche 959, Kiefer Sutherland – Boxster S, Cameron Diaz – Porsche 996 Carrera, David Beckham – Porsche 996 Turbo, Paul Walker – Porsche 996 GT3, Courtney Cox – Porsche Carrera and Tom Cruise – Porsche 911.
