How to Customize Your Porsche

When buying a new vehicle at an Arizona Porsche dealership it is important to know you have options. All the standard features on a new Porsche are of top quality and sure to perform. However, it’s not every day one buys a new Porsche, so when you do, be sure you are getting exactly the one you want down to the tire tread. I say that because a vehicle with so much output can lose performance if not being driven on tires that can handle the engine’s power. So, if you upgrade the engine, be sure to upgrade the parts that compliment the engine.

The features that come standard on a Boxster are top of the line. However, there are multiple packages available that will set it apart from the others and make it yours. The Boxsters seats can be easily replaced with racing seats that will make the vehicle lighter and therefore quicker. The optional Power Sports Seats include a 14-way electronic adjuster to adjust the seat to fit exactly to your unique preferences. The Boxsters Premium Package includes the Power Sports Seats with driver memory and also includes a wind deflector, two-zone automatic air-conditioning, seat heating, automatic dimming mirrors and Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche’s Dynamic Light System. Also available for the Boxster are advanced performance 19-inch Cayman S wheels that are great for a Boxster with an aftermarket engine.

The Porsche Boxster is also available in a Boxster S model, which includes a 3.4L 315hp engine, as opposed to the Boxster’s standard 2.7L 265hp engine. Also available for the Boxster S are advanced performance 20-inch Cayman S wheels, front and rear park assist, a seven-speed double clutch, wheel caps, headrests with the Porsche crest and the Infotainment package which includes an HD radio receiver, a Bose Surround Sound System and a premium navigation system.

The Cayman is also available at your Porsche of Tucson in a standard edition and in a Cayman S model. The Cayman comes with a 2.7L 275hp engine and the Cayman S comes with a 3.4L 325hp engine. The optional upgrades on the Cayman include a seven-speed double clutch, 14-way Power Sports Seats, wheel caps, headrests with the Porsche crest, Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche’s Dynamic Light System, seat ventilation and front and rear park assist. The optional upgrades on a Cayman S include those available on the standard model plus the optional Infotainment System package and Sport Chrono Package Plus, which includes an Analog and Digital Chronometer as well as a Sport button that, according to Porsche, is used “to suit one’s personal driving style…and changes the electronic engine mapping so it engages a sharper throttle response.”
